ME Regulations

Diving

Maine Code - §6956A person licensed to harvest a marine species by hand must display a diver's down flag when using a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus to harvest that species.

Lobstering

If you don't know the rules, you could end up losing your dive gear. We are going to help you avoid that.

In Maine, it is illegal for scuba divers to harvest lobsters.

Boating around Divers

For Boaters in Maine: Boaters are required to stay at least 100 feet away from red and white Diver Down flags
